Welcome to Kansas City Cello Society's Sunday Reading Group. This is formerly the Adult Learner's Reading Group, however, we will be opening this up to younger players that may also need a group in which to play.  Some home schoolers and private schools do not have group playing options.  We will be sponsoring a series of four sessions on  the third Sundays of September, October, November and January, beginning on September 20, 2026, at KC Strings Merriam location from 2 to 4pm.  This is for cellists only at this time.  If you are a learner of the cello and need more practice playing with others, then this group is for YOU!  Please look at the two musical examples given.  If you are just beginning learning the cello, and haven't quite mastered all strings just yet, this might be a bit above your head.  Keep practicing though and we will have more opportunities in the future!  You can complete your registration and pay the fees right here.  You can choose from registering for all four sessions, or picking individual sessions to attend.  You may choose that under "choose an event" box.

We plan to have sessions through May of 2027 but due KC Strings moving their location down the street and not knowing the exact timing of that move, we only feel comfortable offering this through January for now.
